Packers beat Seahawks 30-13, improve to 10-4
The Packers went three-and-out to start the fourth quarter, with Love and Watson failing to connect on third-and-3 on a pass across the middle. Whelan’s 51-yard punt was downed by Robert Rochell at the Seattle 4.
Arron Mosby tipped Howell’s pass on first down and Cooper nearly picked him off on second down on a pass across the middle. Cooper got his hand on Howell’s third-down attempt, too, as the pass fell incomplete.
Green Bay started at its 43 but gave the ball back to Seattle after Ernest Jones punched out the ball from Jacobs’ grasp on a second-and-10 run for the turnover at midfield. Julian Love recovered.
The Seahawks converted it into points when Charbonnet broke a 24-yard touchdown to cut Green Bay’s lead to 23-13 with 11:16 left in regulation.
The Packers went three-and-out again after Jacobs was tackled after a 4-yard gain and Love threw a pair of incompletions.
Seattle retook possession at its 32 with 10:04 remaining. Clark hit Howell’s arm and deflected pass on first down. Head Coach Matt LaFleur unsuccessfully challenged whether it was a forward pass.
Howell threw a pair of incomplete passes and Seattle elected to punt. Reed muffed the punt but recovered at the Green Bay 16.
Wicks caught a 12-yard pass on first down and Reed took an end-around for 13 to the Packers’ 41. Love then executed a push-pass to a motioning Reed for another 12 yards to move into Seattle territory with less than eight minutes left.
LaFleur called a timeout after two Jacobs carries for eight yards set up third-and-2 at the Seahawks’ 39. Reed fell down on a third-down pass and Jacobs tackled for no gain for the turnover on downs at the Seattle 39 with 5:50 remaining.
Brooks sacked Howell on first down for a loss of six and Green Bay got the ball back with Cooper’s first career interception and returned it to the Seahawks’ 27.
On third-and-5, Love hit a diving Doubs for a 22-yard touchdown in the back of the end zone to push Green Bay’s lead to 30-13 with 4:59 remaining.
The Seahawks went three-and-out again, with Brenton Cox Jr. sacking Howell for a 7-yard loss on third down. Green Bay and Seattle traded possessions to end the game.
