Furious Man Utd fans have a LOT to say about Andre Onana after performance vs Wolves, their stance is real eye-opener

Manchester United fans pulled no punches towards Andre Onana after the Red Devils suffered a devastating 2-0 Premier League defeat to Wolves on Thursday.

Ruben Amorim’s early reign at Old Trafford has taken another ugly turn after Manchester United slipped to their third consecutive loss across all competitions.

United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Tottenham last week before the Red Devils suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Ruben Amorim’s men travelled to the Molineux on Thursday evening and United had a nightmare showing against Premier League side Wolves on Boxing Day.

United and Wolves played out a 0-0 scoreline before half-time, but the Red Devils were reduced to 10 men only two minutes into the second half.

Bruno Fernandes was sent off after a second booking and Wolves star Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock in the 58th minute at the Molineux.

Vitor Pereira’s men sealed all three points at home deep into injury time after Hwang Hee-chan netted Wolves’ second from close range against United.

Manchester United have slipped to 14th place in the Premier League table after their 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Boxing Day.

The Red Devils are now only eight points above the Premier League relegation zone and are now a whopping 11 points adrift from the top four.

United were once again heavily exposed from set pieces under Ruben Amorim, with Andre Onana partly at fault for Wolves’ opener against the Red Devils.

Matheus Cunha floated his corner kick straight over Onana’s head into the far corner of the net, with the United No 1 complaining that he was fouled.

Onana’s protest fell on deaf ears and Wolves were awarded their opener, with the 28-year-old Cameroonian’s form taking a little bit of a hit in recent weeks.

Altay Bayindir conceded from Son Heung-min’s direct corner only last week in the 4-3 Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, made their feelings clear on Onana after Wolves’ 2-0 win on Thursday.

Red Devils supporters strongly argued that Amorim must sell Onana and Bayindir in the near future, with one United fan claiming that the pair are “finished.”

One X user posted: “Another mistake from Onana is the difference today. It’s time to cut our losses and find a better GK next season.”

Somebody else said: “Onana and Bayindir both were too engaged with the opponents instead of focusing on the ball! It’s unforgivable… both should be finished at Manchester United.”

“Why [do] we have to endure both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir as our [No] 1 and [No] 2 ‘keepers?” a third asked.

Another commented: “I think United could do with a better number one goalkeeper. I don’t think Onana and Bayindir are good enough.”

While a fifth wrote: “What Onana [and] Bayindir have done to manage set pieces is unforgivable… Both should be finished at Manchester United.”

“Onana and Bayindir should be finished. Bring me Diogo Costa,” another suggested.

And a seventh added: “Onana and Bayindir need to be sold… Dreadful that those are our goalkeeping options…”

An eighth fan tweeted: “No doubt there’ll be some meaningless stats that show Onana is decent but [in] my eyes and everything I know in 40 years of watching football tell me that he’s an utterly dreadful goalkeeper.”
