Describe:

Black-headed finches are similar in size to other pine finches (about 13 cm). The male has a black crown, pale gray upper body with bright yellow markings on the black wings, and pale yellow underside. Females have lighter colored crowns.

Description:

Black headed greenfinch is same size with other species in greenfinch group (about 13 cm). Male has blackish crown, pale greyish upperparts with prominent bright yellow flash in black wing, and yellowish underparts. Female has duller crown.
