Describe:
Blue (blue) thrush has dark blue-purple plumage with white spots on the body. The belly and underside of the tail are the same color but no white spots and the wings have a slightly different blue tint to the body. The beak can be yellow or black. Males and females are similar.
Description:
Blue whistling thrush is overall dark violet blue with shiny spangling on the tips of the body feathers. It’s abdomen and under the tail are same color without the white spots and it’s wing coverts are a slightly different shade of blue. The bill is either yellow or black. The sexes are similar.
