The 5th Test in Sydney between India and Australia started with a bit of animosity between the two sides as some words were exchanged towards the closing stages of Day 1. However, if we look at the bigger picture, Day 1 of the SCG Test belonged to the Australian brilliance.
India won the toss and opted to bat first, however, they instantly regretted the decision as the openers departed cheaply. The onus was on incoming man, Shubman Gill and out of form, Virat Kohli. The duo started the repair work slowly and steadily, but the efforts were short-lived.
Both the batters departed in quick successions and despite a hard-fought 40 from Rishabh Pant and a crucial 22 from skipper Jasprit Bumrah, the team could only score 185.
In reply, the Australian openers, particularly, Sam Konstas had an argument with Bumrah and it fired up the Indian pacer as he knocked over Khawaja cheaply to end the Day with the crucial wicket.
Now, with Day 2 coming up, we look at the session timings and whether there will be any changes to it.

Just like Day 1, the second day will also commence at 5 AM IST, and will probably go on till 12:30 PM.
What are the session times for Day 2 of IND Vs AUS SCG Test?
Day 2 will commence at 5 AM IST, and the first session will be played for two hours, ie, till 7 AM. Then, there will be a 40-minute lunch break till 7:40. After which, another two hour session till 9:40 AM.
There will be a Tea break from 9:40 till 10 AM, and the third session of the day will go on till 12 PM, and if the designated overs are not completed, then half an hour will be extended.
