Jaxson Dart has reached the end of the line of his memorable college football career. On Thursday night, Dart suited up and helped the Ole Miss Rebels punctuate their 2024 college football season with a resounding 52-20 victory against the Duke Blue Devils in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.
Ole Miss believed it should have been one of the 12 programs in the College Football Playoff, but at least Dart and the Rebels came away with a postseason win, thanks in large part to the inspired performance of the quarterback.
Dart was in top form against Duke, as he tossed four touchdowns with zero interceptions while going 27-of-35. He also burned some rubber for 43 rushing yards on 12 carries.

After the game, Dart was given the Gator Bowl Most Valuable Player award for his incredible farewell performance for the Rebels, who finished the season with a 10-3 overall record.
Even better, Dart got an emotional shoutout from Ole Miss football’s official X account.
“That’s our Quarterback 🥲, ” the caption on the post read.
Dart announced his intention to join the 2025 NFL draft last December but still opted to see action for the Rebels against Duke, a decision Ole Miss certainly appreciated and will always remember.
