GREEN BAY — The No. 7 seed Packers will travel to face the No. 2 seed Eagles in an NFC Wild Card playoff game next weekend at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The day and time of the game is to be announced by the league. This story will be updated as soon as that information is known.
The Packers dropped to 11-6 after a last-second 24-22 loss to the Bears on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The Eagles, who won the NFC East, finished the regular season 14-3 with a win over the Giants.
This will mark the fourth postseason meeting between the two teams in their histories. The Packers won the most recent one, a 21-16 decision at Philadelphia in the 2010 wild-card round.
The Eagles won the other two, an overtime game in the 2003 divisional round and the 1960 NFL title game back when Vince Lombardi was Green Bay’s head coach.
The Packers and Eagles met way back in Week 1 this season, in Sao Paulo Brazil. Philadelphia won that game, 34-29.
