Legendary country singer Shania Twain got criticism from those who asserted that the Canadian crooner went under the knife to reverse the aging process

Country legend Shania Twain sparked up some concern after she took the stage Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s New Year’s Eve special on CNN.

While the Man! I Feel Like a Woman singer looked gorgeous under the stage lights, some called her out, assuming she had unnecessary cosmetic work done.

“Shania Twain. Botox ruined her though,” one wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Another person expressed: “Uh, what the **** happened to Shania Twain? Jesus people, stay away from the plastic surgery!,” meanwhile, a third person shared: “What happened to Shania Twain’s face?! #CNNNYE.” Someone else noted, “Why did I think Shania Twain was Lindsay Lohan? #CNNNYE.”

One even went as far as to claim: “Shania Twain doesn’t even look like herself.” The Canadian songstress was talked about as much as the entire CNN special was. Once again, the CNN correspondent brings in the New Year with his bestie Bravo host Andy. The two are known to host the CNN New Year’s Eve Live show and interview celebrities. Something that makes this special different than the rest is that both Andy and Anderson begin doing liquor shots every hour starting at 8 p.m.

Throughout the night the two sometimes reveal their unfiltered thoughts, especially the more inebriated they become. Amid hosting the special, Andy and Anderson had to deal with an unexpected guest, the rain. Andy cracked the first joke, being that they didn’t have umbrellas initially, but as the night went on, the two held a clear one over their heads.

As he was holding his umbrella, Andy said: “The rain is really coming down. It’s no joke.” He then looked at Anderson and asked: “Is this the hardest it’s going to fall or it’s going to get worse?”

Anderson then passed a joked and tried to tell Andy to not jinx the weather by talking about it. He said: “Do you know that you’re not supposed to talk about things like that? Because obviously it’s only encouraging the weather gods to make it worse.”
