  • Intruder took stairs to escape, visuals traced on sixth floor
  • “The CCTV visuals of the unidentified intruder who repeatedly stabbed actor Saif Ali Khan inside his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area early Thursday (January 16, 2025) morning have been traced on the sixth floor of the building,” police sources said.
  • The star lives on the 12th floor of Satguru Sharan apartments. As per the sources, the intruder used the staircase to escape after the attack.
  • Khan’s domestic help, who raised initial alarm after the incident that took place around 2.30 a.m., lodged a police complaint for trespassing and attempt to murder, the sources added.
  • As per the doctors at the Lilavati Hospital where Khan was rushed, he was out of danger after undergoing a surgery.

  • In a statement, Saif Ali Khan’s team said that the Bollywood star is “out of danger”. On January 16, 2025 (Thursday) around 2:30 am, Saif reportedly suffered multiple injuries after he was attacked by a knife by an intruder at his residence in Mumbai.
  • “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress,” said the statement.
  • The actor was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital at around 3:30 am by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan and another member from his family. Saif’s family thanked the doctors. “We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital.”
