WEST PLAINS, Mo. — A confirmed tornado hit West Plains on Mar. 14.
MSHP Troop G says the tornado led to two deaths and multiple injuries in the Bakersfield, Missouri area as well as downed trees, downed power lines and significant structural damage in Howell County and Oregon County.
The National Weather Service will conduct storm surveys in the coming days to evaluate the full extent of the tornado’s damage.
