Megyn Kelly joined President-elect Donald Trump’s Victory Rally on Sunday, where she thanked high-profile celebrity supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris for helping bolster Trump’s win.
“These Hollywood celebrities who get up there and try to tell us how to vote. Really? I mean, like those celebrities who know nothing?” Kelly said.
“So goodbye. J.Lo. It did not work out for you. Goodbye, Meryl Streep, who showed up at that Oprah event saying, ‘oh, madam President,’ to Kamala Harris. How’d that work out? About as well as her comment that Harvey Weinstein was God. Maybe we should stop listening to her,” she continued.
Kelly went on to focus on Oprah and her support of Harris during the campaign cycle.
“Oprah she’ll show up and interview you if you pay her $1 million, too,” she said. “….Apparently, that’s what the Harris campaign production company says.”
Kelly also thanked Harris personally for helping bolster Trump’s win.
“But of course, the fakest person involved in that side of the aisle was the woman at the top,” she said. “Kamala Harris herself. Thank you. Who pretended that she wasn’t the border czar. Who pretended that she was middle class. Who pretended that she was smart, and the American people did not buy it.”
“Every time you turned around, this woman was doing something faker than the last, right? Her fake Jamaican accent, her fake eastern European accent, her fake Spanish accent. It was like spending the day at Joe Biden’s southern border nonstop.”
President-Elect Donald Trump attributed some of his electoral success to young voters on TikTok during his pre-inauguration rally Sunday, just hours after the app was restored for U.S.-based users.
“And as of today, TikTok is back. So, you know, I did a little TikTok, saying, we have a guy,” Trump said Sunday referring to social media strategist Jack Advent. “TikTok Jack is a young kid, like 21 years old. And we hired this guy and I went on TikTok. Can you believe we’d go on to win an election?”
“And we went on TikTok. And Republicans have never won the young vote, the youth vote. They win a lot of votes, but they never won the youth vote. We won the youth vote by 36 points.”
“So I like TikTok,” Trump said.
Trump suggested that TikTok’s value would be negligible without U.S. approval but could reach massive amounts, even up to $1 trillion, with it.
“And frankly, we have no choice,” Trump said. “We have to save it, a lot of jobs. We don’t want to give our business to China.”
“So whether you like TikTok or not, we’re going to make a lot of money,” he added.
TikTok said it was in the process of restoring operations in the U.S. Sunday, afterTrump promised to issue an executive order to extend TikTok operations on Inauguration Day. U.S. users reported being able to regain access to the app following Saturday’s blackout, and by Sunday afternoon, a new message crediting Trump appeared to users.
“Welcome back!” the TikTok message read. “Thank you for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the U.S.!”Earlier Sunday, Trump wrote on TRUTH Social that he is “asking companies not to let TikTok stay dark!”

President-Elect Donald Trump, who is set to become the 47th president of the U.S. and fulfill a second non-consecutive term, appeared before thousands of his supporters on Sunday on the eve of Inauguration Day.
“So on the eve of taking back our country, that’s what we’re going to do,” Trump said. “Take back our country tomorrow at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride. Bring it all back once and for all.”
CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White, gushed over his longtime friendship with President-Elect Donald Trump on Sunday at the Capital One Arena, as thousands of Trump’s supporters gathered to rally ahead of Inauguration Day.
“I just want you to know, he has been an incredibly loyal friend to me for over two decades, and not once has he ever asked me for anything in return,” White said. “And he has proven again, again, how tough he is. But he’s also a man who truly cares about people. Everything great that’s ever happened to me in my career, he’s been the first one to reach out and congratulate me. And more importantly, in hard times, he’s been the first to reach out and let me know if there’s anything I need.”
“And all this, auring a time when he had a laundry list of his own problems … he is the best human being I have ever known,” he added.
White was one of Trump’s biggest celebrity endorsements, while Trump remained a fan-favorite attendee at UFC matches.
A former senior White House staffer lamented in a comment to the BBC that President Biden was like a “different person” compared to the earlier days of his administration.
“Watching Biden speak, I’m like, oh my God, this is a different person,” a senior staffer in the Biden White House told the outlet in a piece about the president’s legacy. “Maybe it’s simply that when you’re there every day, you don’t see it.”
As the president prepares to exit the White House, Biden has expressed regrets about dropping out of the race in the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris’ loss to President-elect Donald Trump, and said he thinks he could have beaten him.
“As things started to become a grind and you lose that sense of getting big things done, it can give way to infighting and frustration,” the same senior staffer told the BBC.

“Today we celebrate not just the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, but the enduring values of American strength and leadership and the vision that he represents,” he added.
Witkoff will be Trump’s incoming Middle East envoy.

We stood tall. We stood together. Now we have the strongest president of all time taking care of us.”
“I know this next four years, it’s going to be one hell of a run. I know he’s going to do a lot of great things for the whole Spanish community, especially, we’re going to make America Great again,” he added. “Oh, I just want to make this super clear. Trump was the strongest president that we ever had.”

“What an honor. What an honor it is for me to be up here in front of you. Great men and women who’ve all come here to celebrate the greatest win all time. The greatest of all time. The victory we were all fighting for,” Voight said from the Capital One Arena on Sunday afternoon.
“To save our country, our democracy. And I’m so grateful that I’m able to say that Donald J. Trump is the 47th president of the United States of America. And now he will make America thrive again. He will make America great again, safer again. And we the people will honor our flag again.”
Trump is slated to take the stage on Sunday afternoon for a final speech ahead of being sworn-in as the nation’s 47th president on Monday. Trump recently announced Voight will serve as a special ambassador “to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California.”
“He will bring God back to our nation’s truths. He will make her thrive again. He will save the greatest country, America,” the actor added.

Country artist Lee Greenwood joined Fox News on Sunday afternoon amid inauguration festivities in Washington, D.C., reflecting on his decades in the music industry and writing the hit song “God Bless the USA.”
“I’ve been a country artist for 40 years, with 11 number one songs. I’m established in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m not originally from Tennessee, I’m from California. After traveling the country for 40 years, it’s interesting that the association with the president the United States expands the people’s knowledge of who you are and what your career is.
“There’s a line in my song that I ‘gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,’ I had no idea when I wrote that song and that line I would actually be standing next to the president of the United States,” he said.
Greenwood’s hit, which was released in 1984, has become a hallmark of Trump rallies across the years. Greenwood is slated to perform at Trump’s rally on Sunday evening, as well as the swearing-in ceremony on Monday
A litany of musicians has found themselves at the center of backlash after agreeing to perform at President-elect Trump’s inauguration.
Rapper Nelly, who is set to perform on Monday at the Liberty Ball, defended his decision to join the festivities.”I’m not doing this for money. I’m doing this ’cause it’s an honor. I respect the office,” the St. Louis native said in a live conversation with fellow rapper, Willie D.
“It don’t matter who is in office. The same way that our men and women, our brothers and sisters who protect this country, have to go to war and have to put their life on the line for whoever [is] in office,” the rapper, who was born on a military base, continued. “So, if they can put their life on the line for whoever [is] in office, I can damn sure perform for whoever [is] in office.”
A source close to the artist told Fox News Digital that in addition to his father, Nelly’s aunts and uncles “all served in the military for our democracy and the right for us all to vote. He has personally stayed away from politics and wouldn’t participate in campaigning for anyone, but this performance is for the highest office,” reaffirming that the 50-year-old considers the performance to be “an honor.”

Leaders at the southern border are telling Fox News Digital that despite rumors of a sudden rush, illegal immigration numbers are down, and their communities are beginning to regain a sense of “normalcy” ahead of President-elect Trump’s second inauguration this month.
Sheriff Brad Coe of Kinney County, Texas, whose community sits between Eagle Pass and Del Rio, told Fox News Digital that “the pendulum has gone from total chaos and has swung back to where it’s more peaceful and everybody’s a little more relaxed.”
Illegal border crossings in Coe’s area soared during the Biden administration, reaching 480,000 in 2022. The city of Eagle Pass, which has a population of just about 28,000, became the center of a legal battle between Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and federal authorities as the state attempted to crack down on the record-level border crossings.
Under the Biden administration’s lax border policies, Coe said people in his county had to deal with huge financial losses and a constant sense of danger and uncertainty. He also said there was a dramatic increase in dangerous law enforcement pursuits in his county.

Former CNN host Don Lemon was mocked online for suggesting President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration moved indoors over fear of crowd sizes and not due to the cold weather.
“It’s hilarious watching democrat propagandists claim Trump is holding the inauguration indoors because of “crowd sizes” after Trump won every swing state and the popular vote,” popular conservative X account Libs of TikTok posted.
The comment was in response to Lemon posting a video claiming Trump was worried crowd sizes for his inauguration would be small, and substwently moved festivities indoors.
“I’m not sure it’s the cold,” Lemon said in a video posted on Saturday. “I think maybe it’s that you’re afraid of the crowd sizes and that hotels are still available.”
When President-elect Trump is inaugurated on Jan. 20, Republicans will officially control the White House and both houses of Congress.
And while the political spotlight in 2025 will remain fixed on the new administration and GOP congressional majorities, as they aim to rock the nation’s capital, some high-profile ballot box showdowns across the country will grab attention as they serve as a barometer of whether Trump and the Republicans’ electoral momentum can be sustained.
And for Democrats, who aim to rebuild after suffering setbacks in the 2024 elections, 2025’s off-year elections can’t come soon enough.
New Jersey and Virginia are the only two states in the nation to hold gubernatorial contests in the year after a presidential election, and because of their spot on the calendar, they both garner plenty of national attention.

“The American people gave Washington a mandate in November—waste less, save more. Today I’m introducing a first set of bills to follow through on their mandate by prioritizing streamlined regulations, rule-making, and record keeping. It’s time to put government waste in the doghouse and let DOGE get to work,” Lankford said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
DOGE was previously announced by Trump, who tapped billionaire Elon Musk and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the new advisory board looking to cut government waste.

Washington, D.C., is preparing for the inauguration of the 47th President Donald J. Trump on Monday, even as extreme weather has pushed the swearing-in ceremony indoors.

Trump supporters who braved the cold weather for Inauguration Day say they have no plans of leaving Washington, D.C., as festivities move indoors.
“With so many supporters in town, Dana, the Trump team is offering a viewing party tomorrow at Capital One arena. There’s already a line outside for the Victory rally today. The capacity there is just 20,000 people. I’ve been talking to some folks as well who came in, who had seats outside for tomorrow, and they don’t know where they’re going to go watch, but they say they’re not leaving,” Fox News senior national correspondent Aishah Hasnie said on “America’s Newsroom” on Sunday.

The religious text is a 1953 revised standard version that was published by Thomas Nelson and Sons in New York. Trump’s name is embossed on the lower portion of the front cover, and inside the cover are signatures of church officials, an inscription of the president’s name and details of when it was presented to him.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, has ordered flags at state buildings to be raised to full-staff for President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
This comes despite the official order by President Biden after the death of former President Jimmy Carter on Dec. 29 that flags at all government and public buildings and grounds across the country fly at half-staff for a 30-day mourning period, which just happens to include Inauguration Day.
It is a tradition when a former president dies to order a 30-day mourning period and order flags at half-staff.
Biden said the U.S. flag “should be displayed at half-staff at the White House and on all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions.”
Governors across the country issued their own orders regarding how to fly flags in their respective states on Inauguration Day.

We’re also gonna have several other trucks out there for the Liberty ball. Very cool experience being part of the Green Bay rally and driving Donald Trump in the truck and being able to meet him,” driver Andrew Brisson said on Fox News on Sunday as he prepares for Inauguration Day.
At the end of the campaign cycle, Trump arrived at a Wisconsin rally in a garbage truck “in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.” He also wore a uniform similar to one worn by a garbage collector. The truck joined the campaign trail after President Biden’s remark that appeared to describe supporters of Trump as “garbage.”

An event of this scale requires collaboration, vigilance and professionalism, and it demonstrates to the world the strength of our democracy.”

American’s first presidential term began on March 4, 1789, but unfavorable weather delayed proceedings by weeks, history shows.
An “unseasonably cold and snowy” prevented members of the First Federal Congress from traveling to New York City, the temporary capital at the time, according to the National Archives, to count election ballots.

“Basic democratic principles and checks and balances will be largely undermined, the legislature, law enforcement and media will be robbed of their independence and misused as a political arm, Big Tech will be given co-governing power,” reads the document, which was dated Jan. 14.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Trump transition team for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Tickets to attend presidential inaugurations are made publicly available through Congress. They are available at no cost, but there is a limited number to be dispersed.
A ticket to the inauguration allows attendees to see the president and vice president be sworn in on January 20, 2025, in person.
In order to request a ticket, people must go through their members of Congress or senators. Tickets are available in the weeks before the inauguration, and depending on the member, they could be open for requests even earlier.
Tickets are in very high demand, and not everyone who requests them can get one. However, people can still watch the inauguration. The ceremony can be viewed at the National Mall where large video screens will broadcast it to crowds gathered there.
Additionally, people can gather along the inaugural parade route. After being sworn in, President Donald Trump will ceremonially travel from the Capitol to the White House along Pennsylvania Avenue.

There’s just one slight complication.
President-elect Donald Trump and Vance will officially take office on Jan. 20 – the same day as the title game.
“Hopefully everyone is cool with me skipping the inauguration so I can go to the national title game,” Vance joked in a post on social media.
The former Ohio senator then posted a meme in response to his own post on X with his two options: “Attend your own inauguration” or “Go watch the Buckeyes win a national title.”

“Lone actors” pose the greatest threat to safety during the upcoming presidential inauguration events, according to U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger.
He referenced two incidents last week on Capitol Hill where people sought to “disrupt” congressional proceedings with potentially violent tactics.
An estimated 250,000 ticketed guests will attend the formal inauguration on Jan. 20, according to law enforcement.
That will be supplemented by another 25,000, who law enforcement expect will attend various demonstrations going on around the Capitol on Inauguration Day. The inauguration and its accompanying events have been designated a “National Special Security Event,” the highest federal protective status an event can receive, authorities said.

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden will travel to Charleston, South Carolina, on his last full day in office on Sunday.
To observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Biden will attend a service at Royal Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston and deliver remarks on Dr. King’s legacy and “the continued fight to make Dr. King’s dream a reality,” a White House official told Fox News.
Biden will then visit the International African American Museum where he is expected to meet with attendees and deliver remarks.
Sunday’s travel marks Biden’s last official trip as president and “will continue his long relationship with the state of South Carolina,” the White House official said.
In 2015, Biden attended the funeral service of Rev. Clementa Pinckney, who was killed in the mass shooting at Mother Emmanuel AME Church. At the time, then-Vice President Biden discussed how the churchgoers gave him strength following the death of his son, Beau Biden.
President Biden returned to South Carolina in January 2024 “where he spoke to the continued fight for racial justice and for the Soul of the Nation,” the White House official added.
During the 2020 presidential primary, Biden campaigned “extensively” in South Carolina, securing the endorsement of Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., the official said, categorizing Biden’s 2020 primary victory as “a pivotal moment in his campaign to secure the Democratic nomination for President.”

President-elect Donald Trump delivered a two-word message on Sunday morning regarding the future of TikTok.
“SAVE TIKTOK!” Trump wrote on TRUTH Social.
Trump told NBC News on Saturday that he was considering giving TikTok a 90-day extension to allow the app to continue operating. He signaled that an announcement might come after he is sworn into office on Monday.
TikTok was removed from most app stores, including those run by Apple and Google, in the United States on Saturday, as a federal ban on the popular app owned by ByteDance took effect amid national security concerns regarding potential Chinese manipulation.
Users who already had the app downloaded and opened it Saturday encountered a message that read: “Sorry, TikTok isn’t available right now.”
“A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S.,” it read. “Unfortunately, that means you can’t use TikTok for now.”
“We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office,” it added. “Please stay tuned!”

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk will likely claim office space at the White House as he prepares to lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to a new report.
Musk may occupy space in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building right next to the West Wing that houses the bulk of office space for White House staffers, the New York Times reports.
Musk and transition officials have talked about what Musk’s access to President-elect Donald Trump will look like after the inauguration, but solidified plans are pending, according to the outlet, which noted that usually special passes are required for those to freely visit the West Wing.
Musk is heading up DOGE with tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as they target ways to eliminate government spending, waste and streamline efficiency and operations. However, the paper reported that it’s uncertain whether Ramaswamy is also expected to occupy White House office space.

Reactions from social media came pouring in on Wednesday night, as President Biden delivered his farewell address to the country, ending a career in politics that spanned over half a century.
“Joe Biden discussing democracy, a free press, institutions and the abuse of power in his final farewell speech is rich,” GOP Congresswoman Nancy Mace posted on X.
“What an embarrassing and pathetic end to an embarrassing and pathetic term,” Fox News host Greg Gutfeld posted on X.
“Joe Biden can’t even read. Every time he speaks it gets worse,” conservative commentator and radio host Clay Travis posted on X. “Trying to run him in 2024 is the most reckless and indefensible presidential decision in any of our lives.”
“My thoughts on President Joe Biden’s Farewell Address: It was underwhelming and divisive,” Gabriella Hoffman, Independent Women’s Forum Center for Energy & Conservation director, posted on X.
