Landman season one finale will air on January 12 and fans are desperate to know whether it will be coming back for season two – even though they believe the show would be ‘better without the hyper-sexualization’ of the female characters.
Starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, the Paramount Plus drama from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas.
The series is described as a ‘modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs’ and is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.
Episode 10, titled The Crumbs of Hope, will arrive on the network’s streamer on Sunday.
But will there be more Landman?
While Paramount Plus has yet to officially confirm whether Landman will be back on television screens, recent Golden Globe winner Demi appeared to accidentally let slip that it will be returning.

Demi Moore accidentally appeared to confirm that the show will resume production this year
Speaking at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival last May, she revealed that production would be resuming this year.
As per Deadline, she told the audience: ‘I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second which will be at the beginning of next year (2025).’
Landman co-creator previously shared that he hopes the show will continue ‘for a while.’
In an interview with The Direct, he said: ‘As long as there are stories to tell, I would love to keep telling them.
‘And I think we really just skinned the surface on our first season, and that’s saying something because they cover a lot of ground.
‘So yeah, I hope we keep telling these stories for a while.’
In December, lead star Billy Bob, 60, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the drama, said he couldn’t see why Landman wouldn’t be renewed.
‘The show has done very well, so it just stands to reason that they would do another one,’ he told The Hollywood Reporter.

‘But especially when you get a nomination for something — that draws attention to your show, so I think that helps.
‘I can’t see why they wouldn’t. I imagine we’ll find it pretty soon, because if we were going to do one, we’ll have to start not too long after the first of the year.’
That same month, Michelle Randolph added to the publication that she has a lot more to explore with her character, Ainsley.
‘I would love to be able to continue playing her,’ she said.
‘I think in order to create a character properly you have to create a backstory, or have strong opinions on the relationships they have.
‘I could film a whole show called Ainsley at this point, and it would probably be very different than what the audience thinks it would be.
‘She is very special to me, and there’s a lot more to her than I think you initially get to see.’
Landman exploded onto Paramount Plus in November and quickly became the network’s biggest premiere in two years.
